Walking along Tamarindo Beach in the morning, it’s hard to believe that such a deadly virus is engulfing the world’s population. Of course, we are not immune to Coronavirus in Costa Rica. We strictly adhere to safety protocols; there’s no entering a business without a mask and using alcohol on or washing our hands. But with excellent oversight by the government and health services, and a culture that is able to spend a lot of time outdoors, there’s less stress about getting sick in our country. And we know all the Costa Rica COVID requirements, and which hotels, tours and transportation meet the highest of standards. Why wouldn’t you start planning your Costa Rica vacation package with us right now?

Costa Rica Entry Requirements

Before you come to Costa Rica, there are a few simple things you need to do.  There are Costa Rica COVID requirements: There is an online Health Pass that you need to fill out, after which you will receive a code to show at immigration when you enter the country. On the Health Pass you need to show that you have purchased medical insurance to cover your stay in Costa Rica, so you will be covered in the chance you do contract COVID. I can provide you with the link to the Health Pass, as well as some low-cost insurance companies. In addition, you  might want to check with your US insurance company, as some of them have the option for international medical care.

United States Re-entry Requirements

Finally, three days before your departure from Costa Rica, you must take a COVID test, so you can show immigration that you are negative. No matter where you end up in Costa Rica, we have information on clinics that will do the test for you. This is a requirement put in place by the United States, and we want you to be able to safely get home after your fantastic Costa Rica vacation.

As, usual, we are available to answer any questions you may have about Costa Rica Health Requirements, where to go in the country, where to stay, and what to do. That’s what we do at Costa Rica Vacations. Call, text or email.
