South of the city of Limon, you’ll find some of the most spectacular beaches in the country, and young people enjoying the Jamaican-flavored lifestyle. The area around Cahuita and Puerto Viejo offers excellent surfing, as well as beautiful coral reefs for diving and snorkeling. Remote wildlife reserves attract serious ecotourists.
